Exhibition and Photo Critique

Each month we present a different judge from around the world as well as  the top photographers in the Albuquerque area. Having a professional critique of your work is a great way to improve your photographs and learn from critiques of both your images and those from other members.

Meetings

Due to the pandemic and social distancing requirements, all monthly meetings previously held at the Jewish Community Center will be held via Zoom until further notice. To request information about attending our virtual club meetings, Click Here.

Our meetings are held September through June of each year.

  • Speaker and Exhibition meetings are held on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays, respectively.
  • Mentorship meetings are usually held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month.
  • Casual Critique is usually held on the last Thursday of the month.
  • Marauders’ outings are held on the 3rd or 4th Wednesday of each month. The Zooming with the Marauders slide show is the following Tuesday at 7:00 pm

Mentorship and Casual Critique

Mentorship classes are one of the many wonderful things offered by the Enchanted Lens Camera Club (ELCC) for members. Each month we present seminars which are free to all members. The Mentorship Classes are typically held on Tuesday evenings from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Be on the lookout for an email blast that announces the meetings, locations, and to provide Zoom Links, as necessary.

Mid-Week Marauders

The Mid-Week Marauders are a group of individuals who participate in monthly photo outings to locations in or near Albuquerque, New Mexico.  Attendees are usually members of the Enchanted Lens Camera club, but membership in the club is not required for participation. The group runs on a no reservations/no regrets basis. The Mid-Week Marauders trips are on the Club’s Calendar,  and communicated by Club e-mail.

Portfolio Groups

The Portfolio Project is a project-oriented approach to photography. Small groups meet monthly, with each participant working on a collection of images based on a chosen single topic, idea or concept. This is a long term project (9+ months > infinity).
