SUMMARY:Marauder Outing to  Casa San Ysidro: The Gutiérrez / Minge House
DESCRIPTION:Wednesday July 9.  Casa San Ysidro: The Gutiérrez / Minge House and adjacent cemetery and church located at 973 Old Church Road Corrales\, NM 87048.   Arrive at 9:30 am to photograph the adjacent cemetery and the outside of the church. We have arranged for the Club to be hosted at the Gutiérrez / Minge House from 10:30-11:30am.  Great photo opportunities of historic architecture\, furnishings\, and artifacts. We can photograph the inside of the House\, the outdoor courtyard and various other rooms and structures.   Admission is $5/person\, payable at the door (by credit card).  When taking shots inside\, flash\, tripods and monopods are not permitted. At about noon\, we will leave for an optional lunch at Village Pizza\, located at 4266 Corrales Rd\, Corrales\, NM 87048. \nCasa San Ysidro: The Gutiérrez/Minge House is a charming historic house museum in Corrales\, New Mexico. A satellite of the Albuquerque Museum operated jointly with the Village of Corrales\, New Mexico\, with support from Sandoval County and the State of New Mexico Historic Preservation Division\, and affectionately known as “Casa\,” the property is home to one of the most comprehensive collections of New Mexican art and furnishings.

DESCRIPTION:Saturday July 26.  The Indian Pueblo Cultural Center (IPCC) located at 2401 12th St NW\, Albuquerque\, NM 87104.  We will photograph the Acoma Family Dance Group\, from 11:00 am – Noon\, and then there are usually opportunities to photograph the dancers at the conclusion of the ceremonies.  Admission to the IPCC is $10 for NM residents\, and that includes entry to the dance.   Afterward\, we can eat at the Indian Pueblo Kitchen (located at the IPCC).
