DESCRIPTION:Sunday\, August 3rd – Downtown Albuquerque Architecture\, Street\, Bus\, Train Walk.  Start and End Location:  5th & Central. \nMeet in front of Lindy’s at 5th & Central at 8:30 AM. \nStart Time: We will start walking at 8:30 AM. (we can be at the Rail Station while a northbound Rail Runner is boarding and then leaving at 9:35 AM).  Brunch: YES at Lindy’s!  Estimate end of walk and start of brunch at 10:45 – 11:15 AM. \nMike McGovern has agreed to lead a downtown photoshoot and has developed the itinerary.  Expect to photograph Streets\, alleys\, train tracks\, cars\, trucks\, busses\, trains\, street signals\, signage\, people\, etc.; You can employ the following techniques: Color\, monochrome\, leading lines\, action\, vehicle and people interest\, panning\, motion\, slow shutter\, high bokeh\, urban landscapes and combos\, weather (maybe)\, murals\, shops\, abstracts… \nStart and End Location:  5th & Central \n–  Start Time: We will start walking at 8:30 AM. (this allows us to be at the Rail Station while a northbound Rail Runner is boarding and then leaving at 9:35 AM) \n–  Distance to Walk: 1.0 miles (includes some walking to and from your car) \nEffort/Safety:  An easy walk\, Safety and security – stay in a loose group.  Avoid street people/denizen photos and proximity\, be aware of your surroundings \n–  Photo Equipment:  Recommend 20-70 mm lenses\, no flash\, monopods and tripods as you desire\, careful not to weigh yourself down \n–  Brunch: YES at Lindy’s!  Estimate end of walk and start of lunch at about 10:45 – 11:15 AM.

DESCRIPTION:Updated Date and Time!!  Now Wednesday\, August 27th (9:00-11:00 am)  \nThe Tinkertown Museum\, located at 121 Sandia Crest Rd\, Sandia Park\, NM 87047 ($6 entry fee).   It is a 20-minute drive from Tramway and Central Ave.  to Tinkertown.   When you arrive\, turn left and drive into the Tinkertown Parking Area.   We will leave Tinkertown at 11:00 am and arrive about 11:15 for an optional lunch at the popular Burger Boy\, located at 12023 NM-14\, Cedar Crest\, NM 87008.  It is a 10-minute drive from Tinkertown to Burger Boy. \nPlease note that we have arranged for Tinkertown to open for our club on Wednesday August 27th – so don’t worry if you see on their Web page that they are closed on Wednesday’s!
