I was a stay-at-home mom while my children were raised and participated in school activities and as a volunteer/board member for various school organizations. I take photos for fun and fun only, and I consider myself an amateur. Every once in a while I actually photograph something that I think turns out pretty dang well. But my aim is to please myself. I do appreciate very much the work of others and look for inspiration from them. I am an award-winning colchera but lately have been wanting to diversify my creative interests. I would like to use my photography as a basis for watercolors whenever I get around to exploring that medium. (I haven't had time yet.)

I'm a Grammie and help out sometimes with taking care of my 7 granddaughters and new grandson due in September. Besides photography, I have OCD (Obsessive Corgi Disorder)! My Corgi, Ellie, and I are a certified therapy team and spend lots of time visiting different places and with all ages of people. So be prepared to hear about my Corgi!! I have been photographing for several years and have found out the hard way that portraits are not my thing. I do landscapes, actually anything that catches my eye and of course, my Corgis! I know I have a lot to learn and consider myself an advanced beginner to intermediate. I use a Sony DSC-HX100V. I would like to upgrade my camera to another Sony, I'd like a camera with detachable lens, but would be open to a Nikon or Canon.
