Meet at 2:30 pm at the first two story viewing stand on your left, after you enter the main entrance (you drive under a large metal sign)
Both Gary Lamott and Mike McGovern will be there to help you get to a good spot to photograph Birds and other wildlife.
It’s a 45 minute drive from Albuquerque. Take I-25 S to US-60 E in Socorro County. Then take exit 175 from I-25 S. Drive to NM-116 N. Continue onto US-60 E. Turn left onto NM-116 N
The Ladd S. Gordon Waterfowl Complex contains four wildlife management areas in Valencia and Socorro Counties, namely Bernardo Waterfowl Area, La Joya Waterfowl Area, Casa Colorada Waterfowl Area and Belen Waterfowl Area.
