Maraduers Fall Colors Outing – Sandia Mountains

Let’s get some foliage shots this week, and then later on in the Albuquerque Bosque.  Marauders Mike M, Mike S, Earl S, & Barry) have scoped out options in the Albuquerque area.  

Friday, October 23^rd: Let’s head up to the Sandia Peak Crest Road.  A Map was emailed to all club members.

Nine-Mile Picnic Area is the turn-out off the Crest Road after Capulin Springs, and the Cienega Canyon/Sulphur Springs Picnic Area is one of the first turn-outs after Tinkertown.

1. 9:00 – 10:00 AM: Be at the Nine-Mile Picnic Area on the Sandia Crest Road – Photography
2. 10:15 – 11:30 AM: Cienega Canyon Picnic Area
3. 11:45AM – about 1:00PM: Lunch at ​the Trail Rider Restaurant on Rt. 14. ​  Address is 12165 NM-14 B1, Cedar Crest, NM 87008
