Marauders Outing to Santa Fe, via the Rail Runner Train

On Wednesday, Sept. 23rd, we will take the rail Runner Train to and from Abq to Santa Fe.  When we arrive at the  Santa Fe Train Depot, you have a choice of walking through Old Town, Canyon Road etc., or going to Museum Hill.   Two of the Museums at Museum Hill are free on Wednesdays.

We will then meet at Tomasitas at the Train Depot at about 1:15 pm  for lunch and then catch the train back to Abq.

The train is free on Wednesdays for persons 60 years and older,

Here are the details:

Take the #510 train from the at 9:50am from the Los Ranchos/Journal Center Station, and arrive at the Santa Fe Train Depot at 11:16 am.

Either take the free shuttle, which leaves about every 30 minutes to go  to the Historic Plaza, Canyon Road, and the Roundhouse.

If you prefer to go to Museum Hill, it is recommended you take an Uber/Lyft, as the wait to get a shuttle to and from Museum Hill takes too long. If you are going to Old town, Canyon Road, etc.,

If you are walking/taking the shuttle from Old Town, Canyon Road, Start heading back to the Train Depot around 12:30 pm.

If returning from Museum Hill, leave about 12:30 pm so as to arrive at Tomasitas (at the train depot) at 1:15 pm. Depart from the Santa fe Train Depot (adjacent to Tomasitas)  via Train #515 at 2:46 pm, and arrive at the Los Ranchos/Journal Center Stationat 4:13 pm
